At Petersfield, BioRePeel starts at £85, the AlumierMD Enzymatic Peel is £90 and The AlumierMD Peel is £120, with a course of 4 for £450. For acne-prone or congested skin, the 12 Week Acne Bootcamp begins with an Anti Bacterial Facial with a chemical peel, followed by five further peels, one every two weeks, and costs £350 for the full 12 weeks.

A consultation checks that the course suits your skin before you start. For the week before each peel, pause retinol, AHAs, BHAs and other active skincare and avoid sun exposure, and a patch test may be required. Afterwards, expect some redness, tightness and peeling for three to seven days, depending on the depth of the peel. Results vary from person to person.
