BTL EXION Face combines monopolar radiofrequency with targeted ultrasound in a single handpiece. The radiofrequency gently warms the deeper layers of the skin as the ultrasound is delivered. BTL designed this pairing to encourage the skin to make more of its own collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, the molecule that helps skin hold moisture. The aim is skin that looks firmer, smoother and better hydrated, with softer fine lines, and no needles or injections are involved. We treat the full face, the lower face and jawline, the neck and the delicate skin around the eyes. We recommend a course of four treatments, and results build gradually over the following months. Every course begins with a consultation, and results vary from person to person.
Deep warmth, carefully controlled
EXION Face warms the dermis, the layer of skin where collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid are made, and pairs that warmth with targeted ultrasound to encourage the skin's own renewal.
Monopolar radiofrequency
Gently heats the deeper layers of the skin. This controlled warmth is designed to stimulate fibroblasts, the cells that make collagen and elastin, for skin that looks firmer and smoother.
Targeted ultrasound
Delivered at the same time as the radiofrequency. BTL developed this combination to boost the skin's natural hyaluronic acid, which helps skin look plumper and better hydrated.

EXION Face is designed for early signs of laxity, fine lines and dull, dehydrated skin, for people who would like a needle-free option. We treat the full face, the lower face and jawline, the neck and the skin around the eyes. It is not suitable during pregnancy or if you have metal or electronic implants.
Four treatments, building gradually
EXION Face works by encouraging your skin to renew its own collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, which happens gradually. A course of four treatments gives your skin time to respond between sessions and lets your practitioner review how it is changing.
