Yes, a little. Expect redness, some swelling and tiny pinpoint marks from the resurfacing, which usually settle within one to three days. Most people plan their treatment away from important events, and we give you full aftercare advice on the day.

Most people have a course of three, spaced about four weeks apart, and results build as new collagen forms. We will recommend a plan for your skin at your consultation. Courses of three and six are available at a reduced price.

The technology is designed for all skin types, and the treatment is often chosen from the thirties onwards by clients who want firmer, smoother skin without surgery. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with a pacemaker, or with some medical conditions and medicines, so we check this carefully at your consultation.
