SkinPen at our Bognor clinic

SkinPen Precision is the medical microneedling pen we use at Bognor Beauty Aesthetics for acne scarring, uneven texture, enlarged pores and fine lines. Skin treatments at Bognor are led by Sharon, our advanced skin specialist, who has over 24 years in skin and beauty.

SkinPen is planned as a course, usually three treatments about four weeks apart. A course of 3 is £600 with your neck included throughout, a single face treatment is £200, and SkinPen Scar Treatment starts at £250.

It can be paired with exosomes, polynucleotides or a chemical peel as part of a wider skin plan, and Sharon will talk you through what suits your skin at your consultation.

Our clinic is on Dahlia Grove in Bognor Regis, with easy parking and close to the train station, and clients come to us from Pagham, Felpham, Aldwick and Middleton-on-Sea.

Bognor Beauty Aesthetics is at 16 Dahlia Grove, Bognor Regis PO21 5GP, with easy parking and close to Bognor Regis train station. We are open Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm, and Saturday from 9am to 4pm.
SkinPen Precision is our more advanced microneedling option: a medical-grade device with a sterile, single-use needle cartridge, precise depth control and a consistent needle speed, and the first microneedling device to be cleared by the US FDA. Our practitioners find one SkinPen session often does the work of around three standard microneedling sessions, and clients tend to notice results sooner. Results vary from person to person.
Most clients start with a course of three treatments, about four weeks apart. Some skin concerns, such as more established acne scarring, benefit from a longer six-treatment plan. We agree the right plan with you at your consultation.
Numbing cream goes on first, and most people describe light pressure or a mild buzzing. Afterwards your skin is likely to look pink, like mild sunburn, and may feel tight or dry for one to three days. Avoid the sun for 24 hours before and 72 hours after, and make-up and SPF can go on after 24 hours.
SkinPen uses no heat or laser. In the US, its FDA clearance for facial acne scars covers all Fitzpatrick skin types, and its clearance for neck wrinkles covers types II to IV. At consultation we check for anything that can affect healing, such as active acne or infection in the area, a history of keloid scarring or recent isotretinoin (Roaccutane).
