Aftercare at our Petersfield clinic

If you are preparing for cosmetic surgery, our Petersfield clinic can plan your aftercare with you before your operation date. Post-operative care builds on gentle lymphatic drainage, using very light, slow movements around the treated area, designed to ease swelling. Your therapist works gently and never over open or healing wounds.

Sharon, our specialist in post-operative care and lymphatic drainage, leads this work and has over 20 years in post-operative care. Alongside Mr Darryl Coombes's patients after facial surgery, she supports clients after liposuction, fat transfer, tummy tucks and breast surgery with other surgeons, and nothing begins after surgery until your surgeon has agreed.

The Recovery Expert Programme is usually 8 to 10 sessions, often two to three a week, adjusted to your surgeon's advice and how your body responds. Sessions are £120 each, or £750 for 8 and £900 for 10. Depending on how you are healing, they can include scar massage once your wounds have fully healed, tape or dressing changes in line with your surgical team's instructions, and light therapy with your surgeon's agreement.
