About Mr Darryl Coombes
Mr Coombes is a consultant surgeon who works solely on the face, head and neck, and he carries out every surgical procedure offered by The Beauty Aesthetics Group. He qualified in both dentistry and medicine at King's College London, trained in oral and maxillofacial surgery at major NHS centres including Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead, and spent ten years as a consultant there before dedicating his time to private practice, with a particular interest in aesthetic facial surgery.
He developed the Apex Facelift®, a facelift for the lower face and neck carried out under local anaesthetic. He still carries out facial skin cancer surgery for the NHS in Sussex and Kent, and lectures and trains other surgeons in rhinoplasty and head and neck skin cancer.
You will meet him at your private consultation at Eastergate, where he will examine you, listen to what you would like to change and explain honestly what surgery can and cannot achieve. In surgery, he is assisted by Tanisha, a student nurse and founder of the Group.

Apex Facelift®
A facelift developed by Mr Darryl Coombes, performed under local anaesthetic and designed to reduce sagging in the lower face and neck, at our medical clinic in Eastergate, near Chichester.
Upper Blepharoplasty
Upper eyelid surgery to remove excess skin for a fresher, more open look, usually carried out under local anaesthetic at our medical clinic in Eastergate, near Chichester.
Lower / Pinch Blepharoplasty
A pinch blepharoplasty removes a small amount of loose skin from just beneath the lower lashes to smooth the lower eyelid, at our medical clinic in Eastergate, near Chichester.
Brow Lift
Surgery to raise a low or heavy brow and open up the eye area, including a temporal brow lift for the outer brow, at our medical clinic in Eastergate, near Chichester.
Lip Lift
Surgery to shorten the space between the nose and the upper lip and lift the upper lip, at our medical clinic in Eastergate, near Chichester.
Otoplasty (Ear Pinning)
